General Shipping Where Can You Ship? Everywhere. Blue Anchor ships worldwide for a flat rate of $2 USD. All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. Insurance, free of charge, is only available for US citizens at this time. Just $2 For Shipping? You've got it! Who likes shipping charges anyway? So far everyone has enjoyed this low rate and I have shipped all across America, from coast-to-coast, including Hawaii and Alaska, to Europe, Scandinavia, Canada and the Middle East, without problems and in speedy time. Bulk orders, however, may require an adjusted rate. Do You Offer Express Shipping? Not at this time. Another feature in progress. If you know you will need a lot of time to complete an order, I highly suggest that you place it as soon as possible to ensure timely delivery. How Long Can I Expect To Wait For My Order? Regular orders take less than 2 business weeks maximum. (Business weeks do not include weekends). Special orders and commissions may take longer due to design, processing and so forth. Payment What Forms Of Payment Do You Accept? Blue Anchor accepts PayPal, E-Checks and all major credit cards. You do NOT need to have a PayPal account to order with PayPal. If you are still experiencing trouble, be sure that your login information is correct (if you have a PayPal account) and that there are no current restrictions on your credit card or bank account. About Jewelry Sizing? An item will fit each person differently as everyone is unique. The size and length of each item is included in its description. To ensure a proper fit for necklaces, chokers and bracelets, measure the area where you would like the item to lay. You can do this with a piece of string and a ruler. If you discover that your item will need to be shortened or lengthened, please include your measurement in the 'special instructions' box at checkout, so that the item may be adjusted before shipment, at no extra cost to you. If you receive your item and it still does not fit, please see 'Returns'. I Am Allergic Or Sensitive To Certain Metals.. This is a fairly common affliction, though most people experience reactions only with ear piercings. I myself, cannot wear earring composed of non-precious metals for very long periods of time. Many people can wear plated metals for short time periods without a reaction. If you are, however, extremely sensitive to metals, regardless of the location, I would highly suggest wearing only precious metals. All earring hooks are composed of either sterling silver, surgical steel or 14karat gold. What Kind Of Materials Are Used? The materials and type of metals used in each item can be found in the item's description. However, the composition of the actual pieces is important as well. Many metal parts used in my jewelry are oxidized brass. Oxidation is a process of plating a metal to give it a special antiqued look. All oxidized components have been professionally plated and treated, to give them a beautiful finish and texture. Pewter is used on rare occassions and such uses will be listed. All earring hooks are composed of either sterling silver, surgical steel or 14karat gold. Beads and gems are glass or Swarovski crystal. How Do I Care For My Jewelry? The best way to care for your metal jewelry is with good old-fashioned mild soap and water. Polishes, creams, treated cloths, cleansing agents and other chemicals can strip these metals of their special finish. Return Policy Certain items may be returned under the following conditions: Please send notification before all returns. Unworn items may be returned for a refund, with the original yellow sales receipt within 30 days of purchase, which can be found on the receipt. This 30 day period includes shipping time. (Note: If a component of your item is not currently in stock and must be ordered, you will be notified and your 30 days will begin on the date of shipment, which will be placed above the purchase date on your receipt). For returns, the postmark date must be within the 30 day period and you must include the original receipt or your return will not be accepted and the item will be marked return-to-sender. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Certain items such as earrings and cloth chokers are non returnable due to their intimate nature of wear. Commissions are non-returnable. Natasha Paulson/Blue Anchor is not responsible for damage incurred through customer use or the shipment process and does not accept returns due to damage resulting from customer use or the shipment process. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me! Every piece is inspected for workmanship before shipment. However, if a replaceable piece (a part that is not permanently held in place) does happen to break or loosen; loops, cracked stone or bead, chain or such, please see the following option.. This Piece On My Item Broke/Needs Resizing.. If a fixable piece of your item breaks, or you discover your item is improperly sized (which is why it is very important to make sure you are receiving or submitting the proper measurement) you have 30 days from the date of purchase to ship it back for adjustments or repair, free of charge. However, you are responsible for shipping it back for repairs (avoid using priority, it's pricey). After 30 days Blue Anchor reserves the right to charge for any shipping fees, materials or labor.
